This feature allows you to send brand-specific campaigns and allows users to unsubscribe from a particular brand, rather than unsubscribing from all lists in an account. There is also a separate ‘Do Not Mail’ list for Brands.

**This feature is activated by request.**

Additional Information:

  1. You have the option to assign a specific list to a brand.  When you select a particular brand in the campaign editor, all the lists associated with that brand become selected in the targeting screen by default.  You have the option to choose all, some, or none of these pre-selected lists
  2. There are specific unsubscribe and ‘Do Not Mail’ rules with regards to branded campaigns:
    • Hard Bounce – Adds the contact to both a brand’s DNM list and the general DNM list. It will also mark that contact as ‘hard bounced’ in all lists that the contact is subscribed to.  If the contact is also either active or paused in any journey, then its flow through the journey will end immediately and its status is set to ‘hard bounced’.
    • Spam Complaint – Adds the contact to both a brand’s DNM list and the general DNM list. It will mark a contact as a ‘complained’ in all lists that the contact is subscribed to. If the contact is also either active or paused in any journey, then its flow through the journey will end immediately and its status is set to ‘complained’.
    • Never Mail Me Again – Adds the contact to a brand’s DNM list. It will mark a contact as ‘unsubscribed’ in all lists that are associated with the same brand as the campaign that the contact is subscribed to. If the contact is also either active or paused in any journey, then its flow through the journey will end immediately and its status is set to ‘unsubscribed’.
    • Unsubscribe From All – It will mark a contact as ‘unsubscribed’ in all lists that are associated with the same brand as the campaign that the contact is subscribed to. If the contact is also either active or paused in any journey, then its flow through the journey will end immediately and its status is set to ‘unsubscribed’.  The contact will be added to the brand’s DNM list ONLY if the option is enabled for the account.
    • 1-Click Unsubscribe – It will mark a contact as ‘unsubscribed’ in all lists that are associated with the same brand as the campaign that the contact is subscribed to. If the contact is also either active or paused in any journey, then its flow through the journey will end immediately and its status is set to ‘unsubscribed’.  The contact will be added to the brand’s DNM list ONLY if the option is enabled for the account.
    • Added to Brand DNM via manual entry or list import – It will mark a contact as ‘unsubscribed’ in all lists that are associated with the same brand as the campaign that the contact is subscribed to. If the contact is also either active or paused in any journey, then its flow through the journey will end immediately and its status is set to ‘unsubscribed’.
