An unsubscribe tag is a tag that you can include in your email content, or more commonly, your custom footers. There are a variety of unsubscribe tags offered by Maropost, and each one has a different end result.

Unsubscribe Tags

1. {{campaign.one_click_unsub_url}} – Specifically used whenever sending campaigns to any segment which does not include the ‘In List’ condition as a rule.  Since these segments don’t have any list selected inside them, and they would be fetching contacts from the entire account, the purpose is to unsubscribe them from the entire account. It can be also used with regular contact lists. When clicked, it will unsubscribe the contact from all of the lists where it is present, and will display the Maropost-hosted “Unsubscribed Confirmation Message” page. **This needs to be used within a hyperlink in your HTML content.**
